I think Violet has the right idea! You can tell you love Violet and I'm sure you know she is the most loyal friend you'll ever have!(besides your "Mom" of course)!

My favorite movies are "Girl" movies- I could watch "Pretty Woman", "Overboard" "A Star is Born","Honeysuckle Rose" "Terms of Endearment",and I must agree "Trains,Planes and Automobiles" is fantastic at Thanksgiving! I love "Christmas Vacation" and "Vegas Vacation" and "Homeward Bound" -looks like I didn't make the list either! Have a great day at the movies!

I believe that dogs go to heaven and will be happy again. A dog is for sure the most trusted and loyal friend that you've ever had, but you have to remember, sometimes the hardest thing for us to do is give them up, because we are thinking of ourselves, how much we would miss them, and to have your pet suffer and be unhappy is not good for your pet. We all know how much you love Violet and I hope and pray that she will be okay, but if she's hurting and can't get better, the most loving thing you can do for her is to let her go. I know its easier said than done, but it happened to me. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of my "Lady". Hang in there Derrick, you and Violet will be in my prayers.
