  • CraigDangerRutledge commented on the article Science Center Scores a Coup:
Why do you think I minored in Biology?

Oh, and I found this press release from the Science Center was much better written than what the last guy cranked out. He was a real hack.

Yes! but how can you possibly re-produce Gene Rayburn, who was in the bag and hitting on the contestants and panelists?

  • CraigDangerRutledge commented on the article The Dating Game and Newlywed Game Making a Comeback:
I have a feeling that a modern version of the show will make the answer to "where's the most unusual place you've ever made whoopie" seem pretty tame.

Guess he shoulda had a few more of those grilled cheese sammiches at the Dead shows. High in calcium, you know.

Thanks! I was going to go for the Clancy Brown Highlander/Spongebob/Shawshank trifecta, but couldn't figure out how to work in "the hardest screw that ever walked a turn at Shawshank" into the dialog

  • CraigDangerRutledge commented on the article McCaskill: More help for us in the Senate or the White House?:
Her moving on might not be a bad thing. Get a stronger Senator in that seat. She has to spend too much time fending off Ned Flanders, er, Jim Talent. Plus, she'd do a great job playing Hilary on the ticket, and Obama wouldn't constantly be pulling pitchforks out of his back.

  • CraigDangerRutledge commented on the article St. Louis' Best Burger:
Since O'Connell's has already been mentioned, I'll toss the White Knight into the mix. 18th and Olive, it's where they filmed "White Palace."

Grab a double there (with bacon, but only if you get there before they run out every day), and a side of the same chili O.T. Hodges serves.

As a bonus, check out the conspiracy-theory laden rant on the back of the menus by the owner, Lee.

No Way! Ed McMahon is the Original Pimp! Dang, guess right about now he's wishing he was knocking on his own door with a check for eleven large.

I thought living forever would be cool. But it turns out that if you are immortal, you have to sword fight with the guy who does the voice of "Mr. Krabs" on Spongebob Squarepants. Seems like alot of work

Do you ever dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

(I swear this quote is relevant. Any helpers?)

For once, I agree with Rolling Stone. Except of course they 'tarded it up by putting Nirvana on the list. Seriously guys, Kurt Cobain was NOT the voice of my generation, okay already?

  • CraigDangerRutledge commented on the article St. Louis company takes on Major League Baseball...AND WINS:
The irony lost on the players and owners is that this ruling has MADE them millions of dollars. Fantasy sports turns casual fans into RABID fans, devouring information and spending hours talking about the players and the sport to other people.

Other industries would kill to have that kind of granular, grass-roots exposure. MLB and the other majors would have killed the golden goose trying to carve up the egg. Morons. Very wealthy morons, but morons nonetheless
